What data we collect and how we use it
Session data: When you host a session, your session name, event code, and activities are stored in your browser's localStorage only. This data never leaves your device except as real-time messages to connected participants.
Real-time messages: EngageLive uses Google Firebase Realtime Database for real-time communication between host and participants. Messages (polls, responses, Q&A) pass through Firebase and are automatically deleted when the session ends. Firebase is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Uploaded images: Images you upload are stored temporarily on our server and automatically deleted after 6 hours.
Payments: Payment processing is handled by Instamojo. We do not store card details. Instamojo is subject to its own privacy policy.
No analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics.
Cookies: We do not set any tracking cookies. Firebase may set functional cookies required for real-time operation.

Acceptable use
You may use EngageLive for lawful purposes only. You may not use it to collect illegal data, harass participants, spread misinformation, or violate any applicable laws.
Payments and refunds
Participant limit boosts are valid for the session they are applied to (24 hours). Due to the instant digital delivery, all sales are final and non-refundable unless the service failed to deliver the purchased limit increase. Contact us within 24 hours for disputes.
Service availability
EngageLive is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruption.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
