1. About EngageLive

EngageLive is a real-time audience engagement platform operated by postlister.com. It allows hosts to create interactive sessions (polls, quizzes, Q&A, word clouds, etc.) and participants to join via a session code in any browser. No download or account is required to participate.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use EngageLive. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Hosts using paid features must be 18 or older and capable of entering a binding agreement.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use EngageLive to:

• Create or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or offensive
• Collect personal data from participants without their consent
• Conduct sessions designed to harass, bully, or intimidate participants
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the EngageLive platform
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with our servers or infrastructure
• Create sessions that violate the privacy or rights of any individual

4. Template Marketplace

The EngageLive Template Marketplace allows users to browse, use, purchase, and contribute session templates.

• Free templates may be used in any EngageLive session without restriction
• Paid templates are licensed for personal/organisational use only. Redistribution or resale is strictly prohibited
• Purchases are non-refundable once a template file has been downloaded or loaded into a session
• EngageLive may change template prices, availability, or remove templates at any time without notice
• All template content remains the intellectual property of EngageLive or the original contributor, as applicable

5. Payments

Paid features are processed through PayU, PayPal, or Instamojo. All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise. By making a payment you agree to the relevant gateway's terms and conditions. EngageLive does not store your payment card details.

In the event of a technical error causing incorrect charges, please contact us within 7 days at support@postlister.com for resolution.

6. Session Data

Session data (responses, reactions, participant counts) is stored temporarily in Firebase during an active session. EngageLive does not permanently retain participant response data after a session ends. Hosts are responsible for any data they export or record during a session.

7. Intellectual Property

All EngageLive platform code, design, branding, and original content is the exclusive property of postlister.com. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

EngageLive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that sessions will function perfectly on all devices or network conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, postlister.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of EngageLive, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of EngageLive after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India.
