ROLE

4. Postlister's Role as a Platform

Postlister provides an online platform through which users can publish, search, discover and communicate about listings and opportunities. User-submitted information may not always be created, verified or endorsed by Postlister.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Postlister is not the seller, buyer, employer, employee, landlord, tenant, service provider, property owner, broker, agent or contracting party in transactions between users.

Postlister does not guarantee that a particular user, listing, product, service, job, property, business or opportunity is genuine, accurate, available, lawful, suitable or safe. Users are responsible for conducting their own verification and due diligence.

5. Rules for Classified Ads and Listings

You must have the legal right and authority to advertise the item, service, property, job or other opportunity you publish.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of intellectual-property rights that you own in content you submit, subject to rights you grant under these Terms and any rights held by third parties.

Licence to Operate the Platform

By submitting content to Postlister, you grant Postlister a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the relevant service, to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, display, publish, distribute and communicate that content for the purposes of providing, maintaining, improving, moderating, promoting and making the Postlister services available.

This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to Postlister. You remain responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to grant this licence.

8. Content Review, Moderation and Removal

Postlister may use automated systems, manual review, user reports or other methods to detect potential policy violations, fraud, abuse, spam, security threats or other risks.

We may, where appropriate and subject to applicable law, refuse, restrict, edit, disable, demote, remove or otherwise limit access to content or features that we reasonably believe may violate these Terms, applicable policies, legal requirements or platform safety standards.

We may also take action to protect users, the Platform, third parties or our legal rights, including where we suspect fraud, abuse, compromise or unlawful activity.

9. Transactions Between Users

Postlister generally facilitates discovery and communication but does not control the conduct, identity, quality, legality, availability or performance of users or the products and services they advertise.

Any agreement, purchase, sale, rental, exchange, employment arrangement, service engagement, booking or other transaction entered into between users is generally a direct arrangement between the relevant parties.

You are responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence, confirming identity and authority, checking product or service details, agreeing payment terms and deciding whether and how to proceed.

LEAD

10. Buyer Requirements and Lead Features

Postlister may allow users to publish buying requirements or enquiries that can be viewed by eligible sellers. Certain lead information or contact details may be made available through free or paid features depending on the service.

Users who submit requirements are responsible for the accuracy of their requests. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that any communication or offer made in response complies with applicable law and Postlister rules.

Postlister does not guarantee that a lead is genuine, exclusive, accurate, current, responsive, purchase-ready or likely to result in a sale.

11. Wallet Credits and Platform Credits

Postlister may provide wallet balances, credits, promotional credits, referral rewards or other forms of platform credit. The exact terms of a particular credit system will depend on the feature and package applicable at the time.

Credits may be subject to expiry dates, usage restrictions, account restrictions, minimum requirements or other conditions displayed when issued.
Credits are intended for use within the Postlister platform and do not automatically represent cash, a bank balance or a transferable financial instrument.
Credits may not be sold, transferred, duplicated, manipulated or obtained through fraudulent or abusive activity.
Postlister may correct or reverse credits that were issued in error, obtained improperly or associated with prohibited activity, subject to applicable law.

12. Paid Promotions, Memberships and Other Paid Services

Postlister may offer optional paid features such as promoted listings, featured placement, boosts, highlighted listings, auto-republishing, memberships, lead access, banner advertising or other services.

The specific price, duration, included features and eligibility conditions displayed at the time of purchase will apply to the relevant service.

Paid Visibility Does Not Mean Guaranteed Results

Paid promotions may increase exposure within available platform placements, but they do not guarantee a particular number of views, clicks, calls, messages, enquiries, leads, sales, bookings, rankings, conversions or other commercial outcomes.

13. Payments and Billing

Payment Authorisation

You authorise the applicable payment provider to process charges for services you purchase through Postlister.

Prices and Taxes

Third-Party Payment Providers

Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers subject to their own terms, security practices and applicable laws.

Failed or Duplicate Transactions

Where a payment is duplicated, incorrectly processed, successfully debited but not credited, or otherwise fails, the transaction may be reviewed and corrected in accordance with the applicable payment process and law.

REF

14. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility for paid Postlister services is governed by the Postlister Refund Policy, together with any specific terms presented at the time of purchase.

Services that have already been successfully activated or delivered may generally be non-refundable except where a refund, cancellation or other remedy is required by applicable law or the applicable service terms.

15. Postlister Intellectual Property

Except for content submitted by users or third parties, Postlister and its licensors retain applicable rights in the website, software, branding, logos, designs, interfaces, databases, features, text, graphics and other platform materials.

You may use the Platform only for its intended purposes. Unless authorised by Postlister or permitted by law, you may not copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, reverse engineer, modify or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Platform or its data.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of Postlister's trademarks, logos, software or other intellectual property.

16. Automation, Scraping and Platform Abuse

You may not use bots, scripts, crawlers, scraping tools, automated account creation, automated messaging, credential attacks or similar techniques to access or manipulate Postlister in a manner that bypasses normal user interfaces, rate limits, access controls or platform rules.

Limited automated access may be permitted where expressly authorised by Postlister or where required by applicable law.

17. Ratings, Reviews and Feedback

Where rating, review or feedback functionality is available, users must provide information based on genuine interactions or experiences and must not manipulate ratings through fake accounts, incentives, threats, abuse or coordinated activity.

Postlister may remove ratings or feedback that violate applicable rules, contain unlawful material, are abusive, fraudulent or otherwise inappropriate, subject to applicable law.

18. Communications Between Users

Postlister may provide messaging, email, telephone, WhatsApp or other communication options depending on the listing and feature configuration.

You must not use these channels for spam, harassment, fraud, unlawful solicitation, phishing, threats, abuse or other prohibited activity. Users should exercise caution when sharing personal information with people they meet through the Platform.

19. Third-Party Services and Links

Postlister may use or link to third-party services such as payment providers, analytics platforms, advertising networks, social platforms, maps, communication services, authentication providers or external websites.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. Postlister does not control independent third-party services and is not responsible for their separate practices except to the extent required by applicable law.

A link, integration or advertisement does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, sponsorship or guarantee by Postlister.

20. Advertising on Postlister

Postlister may display advertisements from third-party advertisers or allow users and businesses to purchase advertising placements. Advertising content is generally provided by the relevant advertiser or advertising provider.

Advertisements do not necessarily represent an endorsement or verification by Postlister. Users should independently evaluate advertised products, services and claims before engaging with them.

21. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information is described in the Postlister Privacy Policy. By using Postlister, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described there, subject to applicable privacy and data-protection laws.

22. Safety and User Due Diligence

Postlister provides tools intended to help users discover and communicate about listings, but no online marketplace can guarantee that every user or listing is safe or trustworthy.

Users should independently verify important information, avoid sending money based solely on trust or urgency, protect account credentials, avoid sharing sensitive information unnecessarily and report suspicious activity through available channels.

23. Service Availability

We aim to keep Postlister available and functional, but the Platform may occasionally be unavailable, delayed, interrupted or limited because of maintenance, upgrades, technical failures, network problems, security incidents, third-party outages, events outside our reasonable control or other circumstances.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue or change individual features or services from time to time, subject to applicable law and any specific obligations associated with paid services.

24. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Postlister provides the Platform and its features on an “as available” and “as is” basis and does not guarantee that the Platform will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure or suitable for every purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Postlister does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, quality, legality, safety or reliability of user-submitted listings, users, products, services, jobs, property, leads, reviews or other third-party content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Postlister and its owners, operators, employees, contractors and service providers will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from your use of the Platform or from transactions or interactions between users.

This includes, where legally permissible, losses arising from user-generated content, failed transactions, fraud by another user, loss of expected profits, lost business opportunities, loss of data, service interruptions or third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

26. User Responsibility and Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of Postlister, your violation of these Terms, your listings or content, your infringement of another person's rights, or your transactions and interactions with other users, except to the extent caused by Postlister's own legally established wrongdoing.

27. Suspension, Restriction and Account Termination

Postlister may restrict, suspend or terminate access to an account or feature where reasonably necessary to address violations of these Terms, platform policies, legal requirements, security risks, suspected fraud, abuse, repeated complaints or other circumstances that may harm the Platform or its users.

Examples may include: fraudulent activity, prohibited listings, repeated policy violations, manipulation of credits or leads, abusive communication, unlawful content, account compromise, payment abuse or attempts to bypass technical safeguards.

Where required by applicable law, users may have rights to notice, explanation, appeal, complaint or other remedies in relation to platform actions.

28. Closing Your Account

You may close your account using the account-deletion functionality available through Postlister or by contacting support where applicable.

Account closure does not necessarily erase information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution or other legitimate purposes. Public content may also remain in search-engine indexes, caches or third-party copies.

29. Compliance With Applicable Law

Users must comply with all laws and regulations applicable to their use of Postlister, listings, products, services, communications and transactions.

Postlister may cooperate with lawful requests from regulators, law-enforcement authorities, courts or other competent authorities and may take steps required to comply with applicable legal obligations.

30. Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe that content on Postlister infringes your copyright, trademark or another legal right, contact us with sufficient information for us to identify the relevant content and evaluate the complaint.

We may take action in accordance with applicable law and our platform procedures.

31. Disputes Between Users

Disputes concerning a sale, purchase, rental, service, employment arrangement, payment, delivery, product condition or other transaction between users are generally disputes between the parties involved.

Postlister may provide reasonable platform assistance or preserve relevant records where appropriate, but is not ordinarily responsible for resolving the underlying commercial dispute unless a specific Postlister service expressly provides otherwise.

32. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to be interpreted consistently with the laws applicable to the operation of Postlister and the user's use of the Platform.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes concerning these Terms or the relationship between you and Postlister will be subject to the courts and legal processes having appropriate jurisdiction. Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer rights or other legal protections that apply to you.

33. Changes to These Terms

Postlister may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, new features, security requirements, business practices or applicable law.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, Postlister will take the steps required by law.

34. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary where legally permissible, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

35. No Waiver

A failure by Postlister to immediately enforce a provision of these Terms does not necessarily mean that Postlister has waived the right to enforce that provision later.
