Please read this Privacy Policy together with our Terms of Use, Refund Policy and other applicable platform policies. By using Postlister, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand how information may be handled as described below, subject to rights that may apply under applicable law.
Privacy Policy at a Glance
1. Information This Privacy Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Postlister website, account functionality, listings, communications and other services made available through Postlister.
It does not automatically apply to websites, applications or services operated by third parties, even when those services are linked from Postlister or appear through third-party advertising, payment, analytics or other integrations. You should review the privacy policy of each third party separately.
2. What Information Do We Collect?

Communications
We may collect information you provide when contacting Postlister support or using available messaging and communication features.
Technical & Usage Information
We may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of access and other usage or diagnostic information.
Information You Make Public
Information you intentionally include in a public listing may be visible to visitors and search engines. This may include listing descriptions, photographs, business information, approximate location, contact details and other information you choose to publish.
Please do not publish passwords, financial credentials, identity-document numbers, payment-card details, private addresses or other sensitive information in a listing unless absolutely necessary and appropriate. Once information is made public, other people may copy, save, screenshot or otherwise use it independently of Postlister.
3. Location Information
Depending on the features you use and the permissions available on your device or browser, Postlister may process location-related information to help provide location-based functionality, such as displaying listings relevant to an area or associating a listing with a selected location.
Location information may come from information you select or enter, IP-address-based estimation, device or browser permissions, GPS or other available location technologies, depending on the platform and functionality being used.
You can control certain device-level location permissions through your device or browser settings. Restricting location permissions may reduce or disable some location-based features.
4. How Do We Use the Information We Collect?
We may use information collected through Postlister for purposes including:
5. Why We May Process Information
Depending on the circumstances and the laws applicable to your use of Postlister, information may be processed because it is necessary to provide a service you requested, because you have provided consent where consent is required, because processing is necessary for legitimate operational purposes, because it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, or for another lawful basis recognised by applicable law.
The applicable basis may vary depending on the type of information, the service involved and your location.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Postlister may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, web beacons and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand usage and support advertising or other functionality.
Used for login, sessions, security, preferences and core website functionality.
May help us understand visits, traffic sources, pages viewed and general website usage.
Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure or personalise advertising, subject to applicable settings and laws.
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through browser settings. Some website features may not function correctly when certain cookies are disabled.
Advertising, Analytics and Measurement Services
Postlister may use third-party advertising and analytics services, including services provided by companies such as Google, to help display advertisements, measure website activity, understand traffic and improve the service.
Depending on the configuration of these services and applicable law, third parties may use cookies, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, pixels, web beacons or similar technologies to collect or process information about visits to Postlister and interactions with advertisements.
Google and other third-party providers maintain their own privacy policies and controls. Users may be able to manage advertising personalisation or other privacy settings through the relevant provider and their browser or device settings.
7. When May We Share Information?
We do not sell or rent your personal information merely as a routine business practice. We may, however, disclose or make information available in circumstances such as:
Service Providers
We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate hosting, infrastructure, payments, security, analytics, communications, customer support and other business functions.
Other Users
Information intentionally included in a public listing or voluntarily shared through a communication feature may be visible to other users or visitors.
Advertising & Analytics Partners
Information may be processed by third-party advertising, measurement and analytics providers according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information where required or permitted by law, legal process, court order, governmental request, fraud investigation or security investigation, or where necessary to protect rights, property or safety.
Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Public Listings and Search Engines
Publicly published listings may be indexed, cached, displayed or referenced by search engines and other third-party services. Deleting a listing from Postlister does not necessarily cause immediately cached, copied or indexed versions held by third parties to disappear. Search engines and third parties control their own systems and removal processes.
8. Third-Party Websites and Services
Postlister may contain links, advertisements, integrations or references to third-party websites, applications, payment providers, analytics services, social platforms and other external services.
Those third parties may collect, use and process information according to their own policies and terms. Postlister is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that operate independently from Postlister.
9. Payment Information
Where Postlister offers paid services, payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways or financial service providers. We may receive transaction-related information such as transaction ID, status, amount, date, payment method type and other information necessary to verify and administer the transaction.
Payment providers may process payment credentials directly under their own privacy policies and security procedures. Users should review the relevant provider's terms for additional information.
10. How Long Do We Keep Information?
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse and fraud, or otherwise fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the reason it was collected, whether an account remains active, whether the information is required for legal or security purposes, and applicable requirements.
Information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymised or otherwise securely disposed of, subject to technical, legal and operational requirements.
11. How Do We Protect Your Information?
We may use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
Depending on the service, these measures may include access controls, authentication safeguards, secure communications, monitoring, backups and other security practices.
However, no website, internet transmission, database or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should take reasonable steps to protect your account and device.
12. Your Responsibility for Account Security
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for notifying Postlister if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
Do not share your password, one-time passwords, payment credentials or other authentication information with another person. Postlister will not normally ask you to disclose your password through an unsolicited message.
13. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and the laws that apply to you, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to access, correct, delete, withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis, request certain restrictions or object to certain processing, or request information about how your data is handled.
Some rights are subject to exceptions, verification requirements, technical limitations or legal obligations. Postlister may need to verify your identity or account ownership before completing certain requests.

Account deletion may remove or disable information associated with your account from active systems, but some information may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention, security, accounting, dispute-resolution or legitimate operational purposes. Public content may also remain in third-party caches, search indexes or copies controlled by other parties.
15. Service Communications and Marketing
We may send transactional or service-related communications such as account notices, security alerts, listing-related notifications, payment confirmations, policy updates or other messages necessary to operate the service.
Where permitted by law, we may also send information about products, services, promotions or features that may be relevant to you. Where a marketing opt-out is available, you can use the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or contact us.
Opting out of marketing communications does not normally stop essential service or security communications.
16. Children's Privacy
Postlister is not intended to require children to provide personal information for independent use of services where doing so is prohibited by applicable law. Where age restrictions or parental requirements apply, users and parents or guardians are responsible for following those requirements.
