Lovely Friendly Shetland

FREDDO is an adorable, fun, well handled all up to date, about 10hh, roughly 2½ years old, rare Mini-Welsh rescue pony likely to make max 10.2hh looking for a kind home. It was initially believed that he would not be ridden, but has surpassed all expectations. Belts around the field - easily keeping up with peers. Hence might in future make fine lead rein pony project?? or even just as a family, young or old person's pet or small companion pony. Not as likely to plough the field up as some bigger ponies will. Gets on well with other ponies. Wee size/inspiring life story may also make him good choice for a therapy pony project for small pony business. Been here the usual 6mths+ & been through the usual isolation/observation period. Thankfully not seen any signs of sickness. Microchipped & passported, vet checked, Wormed, vaccinated 1st & 2nd flue & tetanus, feet trimmed every six weeks etc. Been built up, tamed & trained then turned away on grass. Done him good. Fine to catch/call over. Comes cantering up to get a scratch when my girl whistles. He has not yet seen much, but fine to walk even across the main road. Good to tie up, brush, wash, hose, clip, pleat, rug up, walk, be lead, load etc. Unsure but small enough bot to be too difficult, for jabs & to pick hind feet & can be nervous with new people, but getting there. If unsure breathes up nostril & my girl breathes back to reassure. Can live in or out & been fine with other ponies/colts/geldings.
