We have provided a report listing button in each listings of our website. Click on it and select the option - Spam, Misclassified, Duplicated, Expired, Offensive.

If a listing is reported for any of the given options, our team reviews the listing and take necessary action.

There may be several reasons why your listing is not visible in website. Let us go through them one by one.

Reasons: 

1. You may have deleted your listing. Sign-in and go to My Accounts>Active listings -  Here you will find all your active listings.

2. Your listing may have been marked as SPAM via several users due to which it might get deactivated or removed from website.

To avoid this - Make sure your listings are valid, ethical, legal and should not be offensive. 

3. Duplicate listings require moderation and might be marked as spam leading to deactivation of listing. 

To avoid this - Do not post duplicate listings.

Note: Changing the location or few words in title or description will not make listing unique if you have allready posted similar listings.

In case you are providing similar product or services in different location and want to place an ad for that location, Follow the given instructions while posting a new ad.

1. Select a new location.

2. Create a unique title and description for your new listing. 

Doing this will make sure that your ad is getting published and not marked as spam or removed from our website.

You can search for your ad in two ways. You can type your ad ID number into the search bar and our system will take you directly to your ad. Or you can set your location to the same location as your ad and go to the category your ad was posted in. If you posted the ad recently, it should be on the first page of that category.

If a user has not responded to your inquiry about an item, it’s possible the item is no longer available and the user didn’t take their ad down. It may also be possible that the user doesn’t check their email very often. Unfortunately, if a user hasn’t responded to you, we are unable to contact them for you. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Unfortunately, we have no way of identifying the people who have looked at your ad. However, if someone responds to your ad, our system will send the message to your email address. Additionally, people may decide to call you on the telephone or send a WhatsApp message, if you included your number in your ad. They may send you a chat message as well.

If your images are very large, they may take extra time to upload, especially if your internet connection is a bit slower than others. We recommend that you try making your images smaller by using photo editing software on your computer. You can also try adjusting the settings on your camera so that pictures are saved at a more reasonable size, like 1024x768.

We have recently enabled a limit of 5 new and unique ads per user each month. You can post your ads in multiple cities with unique title and description. However, as per our policy, we ask that you please do not post the same ad more than once in the same city or category. Duplicate ads may be removed without warning. With the way our search works, if you post your ad in a particular city our system will automatically display the ad in search results for nearby cities as well. This way your ad gets better visibility without you having to re-post it. 

Postlister.com is used in India & Worldwide. If you post your ad in a particular city, the ad will be visible to everyone browsing the city level, the state level, and the country level. However, if you do not specify a city and state, the ad will only be visible to people browsing on the country level. Your ads will get more visibility if you specify your city and state during the ad posting process.

Yes! you can post your ads by clicking on the "+" button present on the top right or bottom center of your phone screen inside our web page.

The default setting for any ad to expire is 12 months. Although it can be renewed again once it expires. You can continue renewing the ad until it is sold.

You can edit your ad by logging in to your account and going to the "My Account" page. Next click on "Active listings". From there, select which ad you want to change and click "Edit". Scroll down to the Images field where you can manage the pictures for your ad. Click or Drop to upload images from your computer for pictures to upload. Each ad can have up to 5 pictures. Drag the mage to change the order the pictures are shown. If you need to rotate an image click the "blue arrow" icon on top left of the image. And if you need to delete a picture click the "Bin icon" on top right of image. When you are done making changes to your ad, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

You can edit your ad by logging in to your account and going to the "My Account" page. Next click on "Active listings". From there, select which ad you want to change and click "Delete". A pop up message will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the ad. Please be aware that once you delete an ad the action cannot be undone. If you are ready to delete your ad click "Ok".

Similar to the ad posting process, the editing page will allow you to change anything on your ad including the category, location, title, description, and your contact information. When you are done making changes to your ad, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

You can post a free ad at any time by simply clicking the "Post Free Ads" link at the top of any page. This will guide you through our simple posting process where you will be able to select a category and location for your ad, provide a title and a description, upload up to 5 pictures. An account is a good thing! By placing your ads while being logged in you get the benefit of being able to manage all the ads you place in one convenient place, the 'My account' link, once logged on, (located at the top right-hand corner of the page) will list your current and expired ads.  You can edit, delete or renew from this area.

If you have never placed an ad with us before, Create your account or Log-in to postlister. Then, click on the "Post Free Ads" button on top right side of your screen and follow the instructions. After you place your first listing, Your ad will immediately be posted if it is not duplicate and does not include bad words.
